Project Overview
Since March 2022, I was a Product Designer at Microsoft’s Morden Workspace Transformation Team. And mainly responsible for business and engagement, horizontal experience across multi-platform. The project of Viva Discover-Try-Buy experience is the first project when I joined the team. To solve the problem we faced, I have conducted 3 rounds of design explorations, 2 rounds of UT on UserTesting.com. What’s more, for broader team collaboration, I not only sync with PMs weekly but also share with larger teams and upsell coherence.

Reflection
The most important learning from this project is to think about what makes me unique as a designer, I think that would be I keep myself working on generating impact, which includes three levels:
Personal impact, leveraging others, and contributing to others.
Let me elaborate on these three levels:
Firstly, personal impact is about delivering high-quality design solutions that are user-friendly, cohesive, and visually appealing.
Secondly, I believe in leveraging the strengths of others and always have a learning mindset. I always take the time to understand and work with team members to ensure that we are all aligned and that everyone is contributing their unique skills to the project.
Lastly, contributing to others means that I always strive to share my knowledge and expertise with my colleagues. By summarizing my work process as a toolkit or common design guidance and sharing it across multi-teams, I am able to help others and contribute to the wider design community.
